Recently something happened to my family which changed everything. In an instant, life was different, and always will be. I don’t want to get too philosophical in my first blog post, but when something so unexpected, and so tragic, happens to you and those close to you, it really does force you to take a good hard look at yourself and question what on earth you are doing with your life.

Life is short, and so very precious, which is why I intend to make more of it from now on. There are some pretty big black clouds hanging over me right now, but here’s hoping that they each come with a big fat silver lining.
